On April 7, 2025 Assembly 2183 had a flag blessing and raising for the US and Papal Flags at St. Francis of Assisi grade school. The new flags replaced both worn and undersized flags.  In the first picture Principal Alicia Brown addresses the students about the flags.  Then Father Horst Lorenz blesses the flags.  Following the blessing Faithful Navigator SK Tom Griesmer gave a talk on the symbols on both flags and what they represent.  Past Faithful Navigators SK Jose Ibarra and SK Jim Sdoia raised the flags as each flags national anthem was played.
