August 15, 2026 – Since Veterans Day of 2025, Assembly 2183 partnered with the Tunnel 2 Towers Foundation to raise funds for the Veterans Village being developed in Memphis, Tennessee.  Our initial fundraising efforts collected over $8,400 for this project.  As a result of our efforts and our commitment to continue those fundraising efforts, we were invited to attend the Grand Opening which occurred yesterday.

Attending from our Assembly were, Faithful Navigator Sir Knight Tom Griesmer, Faithful Captain Sir Knight Ed Omedeo, Faithful Admiral Sir Knight Derrick Jones, Faithful Comptroller Sir Knight Chuck Ward, Faithful Purser Sir Knight Bob Scaglione, Faithful Inner Sentinel Sam Lackey and his wife,  Sir Knight John Duff and District Marshal Sir Knight Jim Sdoia.
