May, 2025  – Shown above is Elizabeth Bardos, Executive Director of Birthright of Memphis, accepting a check of $500 from our Worthy Faithful Comptroller, SK Chuck Ward.

Birthright of Memphis offers services to pregnant women and their families, with a focus on providing emotional support and resources to those who choose to continue their pregnancies. They offer services such as pregnancy tests, referrals to medical and social services, and support for ongoing careBirthright’s services are free, confidential, and non-judgmental, and are available to anyone who is pregnant or thinks they may be pregnant. 

This donation was made as part of the Knights of Columbus ASAP (Aid and Support After Pregnancy) Program.  While always supportive of Pro-Life organizations, the Knights of Columbus started the ASAP Program in response to the Supreme Courts ruling in the Dobbs decision which overturned Roe v Wade.  Birthright of Memphis will receive an additional $100 from Supreme as part of this program.
