August 21, 2023 – The Annual Silver Rose Walk for St. Francis of Assisi School was organized by Tom Griesmer, Life Chair for Council 9317 and Faithful Captain for Assembly 2183.  The walk was conducted under the able leadership of Caleb Hall, Chancellor of Council 9317 and Father Joseph Hastings, Chaplain of Council 9317.  The 5th Grade Students listened intently as Caleb explained the meaning of the Silver Rose and about Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Americas.  The students then walked the track at St. Benedict High School while praying the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary.
